Even if your business is small there are certain human resources techniques that every business can use. First, you should create and use job descriptions and organizational charts. Any time you have more than one individual there can be confusion about who does what. Second, hold staff meetings, a regular time for a formal meeting is critical to controlling the flow of information and managing accountability. Lastly, providing feedback to employees is really important. It provides a chance to encourage employees or redirect them where it is needed. After all, it’s the little things that make the work place a great place to be. The most important thing is mutual respect and trust. This is something that a business leader must model every day.
