Get ready to make the change on Monday, July 14, 2025

ISO 20022 is shorthand for the International Organization for Standardization’s messaging standard number 20022. It is the most widely used wire transfer format globally and has been selected by the Federal Reserve as the new U.S. standard. By adopting this universal format, all banks nationwide will use the same template, which will help reduce wire transfer delays while improving accuracy and security.

Wires will be temporarily unavailable July 11-14

To comply with the Federal Reserve mandate, ANB wire transfer services will be temporarily unavailable from Friday, July 11 at 4 p.m. to Monday, July 14 at 7 a.m. (CT).
